Rivers are rising\, in more ways than one. \nCitizens\, lawyers\, activists\, and organisations from across the continent are working together to give ecosystems legal rights using one of the most powerful democratic tools the EU has to offer: a European Citizens’ Initiative that\, with one million signatures\, obliges the Commission to act. \nOn 25 March\, at the HEAR Rivers Festival in Strasbourg\, you can meet the people behind it. \nThis is an open conversation. Come and hear why we believe Rights of Nature is an idea whose time has come in Europe. Ask us your questions. Meet the partners from more than 10 countries who are already building this movement in their communities.
